Instant Messaging Thing 11

I like instant messaging and again refer back to my first opportunity to attend the Computers in Libraries conference 4 years ago, then the Virtual Reference Desk 3 years ago and then again the Computers in Libraries Conference 2 years ago. When I went I learned about IM about Meebo and blogs and RSS, I came back the first time and started staff using Meebo to IM amongst themselves. I also gave out some lists of RSS feeds etc and at least one staff members still uses one from that list. I tried IMing using Text messaging with Diane Wetterlin and it is fun but I don't want to pay for it on my cell phone and would rather do it on a desk top or lap top. I feel sometimes that our regular Outlook email serves at IM for me as people seem to respond instantly.
